When you say "on the old IGI". Do you mean the microfiche?

I found it online, on the IGI website. No doubt it is on a microfiche somewhere, but that's not exactly how I located it

The online IGI did end up with a lot of submitted entries, including things that were not from parish registers or BTs. A sort of guess of what might have happened somewhere at sometime, perhaps based on later records.
