I am trying to figure out the origin of George. Most records say he was born in Germany, A couple say Ohio. I know he was charged with murdering his daughter and was institutionalized in Chicago. I heard rumor he may have grown up in an orphanage in Chicago but I am not sure I believe that. I also heard he was married before Elizabeth Jacobs. This I believe because the oldest sons birth and the immigration/marriage seems off. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
