1939 England and Wales Register - dates of birth

So I have found Alice M and Herbert Cuthbert at 2 Western Road, Tunbridge Wells in the 1939 Register. Year of birth is a couple if years out, but it looks promising

Thank you everyone. I now know she was married and died in 1958

Only problem now, is finding a marriage for Alice Maud Rowlabd and Herbert Cuthbert. It’s not looking very promising

When you mentioned the name Herbert C, I looked also for a marriage and failed to find it. Can't see children from the union either (searching with both surnames).

Yes, i saw that 1939 register this afternoon but couldn’t find a marriage. Of course, maybe Alice was previously married so wouldn’t have been Rowland then

I've been looking for a Cuthbert marrying an Alice but none of the few that came up seem likely. I gave a wide date range because they might have married after the 1939. This happened to an Uncle of mine because his common law wife was already married so they waited until her husband had died.

Are you gong to obtain the death cert, Nellie?
