1939 England and Wales Register - dates of birth

I am struggling to find where to enter the full date of birth on FindmyPast.
My person is Alice Maud Rowland b 10 Feb 1887.
She was my great grandmother’s sister. I am trying to work out if she ever got married and when she died. She lived in the Tunbridge Wells area after being fostered by a family in Mayfield. I have all the info on the first few years of her life in Southwark  until she relocated to Sussex but after 1911 I just can’t place her. I know she was around as I also managed to trace my great grandmother’s two brothers who moved to the US in about 1915 and I made contact with their descendants, some of whom sent me a photo of Alice aged about 40-50. Unfortunately none of them know if she ever married either or when she died!

I was hoping to narrow down my search in someway by being able to put in her exact date of birth.
On Ancestry, it gives you the option to enter that info, but then the reasukts come back for the whole year.
So I was putting in Alice Rowland 10 Feb 1887, but had a hundreds of results from 1887, not just February. I just went through all of them…pretty lengthy job
I know everything about this lady, just trying to find her in 1939 is proving difficult. So I thought that maybe she is married…so putting in just Alice 10Feb 1887, without a surname, then adding Kent or Sussex might help…and I had a few thousand to look through! 😬 That’s why I was hoping I could get a better result with less of the wading through all those Alices!

On FindMyPast, go to the 1939 search page itself and you can enter the exact birth date.

You can also enter a DoB on FreeBMD for deaths from 1969 Q2.

Enter the DoB date (eg 10/02/1887) in the "Death age/DoB" field and check the "Match only recorded ages/DoB" option. FrreBMD's help page has more info on using the DoB search field, and the supported date formats.

The results will include some non-exact DoB dates (eg About1887), where the person's exact DoB probably wasn't known but it can still narrow the results a lot.

I have found loads where the date is wrong compared to the birth certificate: some are right day and month but wrong year, others a few days out, and a few are quite different (though definitely the person i want).
