There was mention of the mule corps in this old thread including a description of what was found in WO 405 and photos having been taken at Kew. Whether either the person who asked or the person who replied are still active I don't know but it might be worth sending them a PM to ask what details were found.

Hi still_looking,

I did see the old thread, and I think that they both have not been on in years. :(

I am hoping to get the WO 405 records, but it is not digitized and has to be sought out by the UK National Archive staff. I put in a request but am not sure of the results.

Thank you for all of the help that was given. All of the known records regarding my family in the Mule Corps have been located.

Everyone taught me so much!

Thanks for all of the photos, tips and hints :D I will be passing them on to other family members, as well.
