Ancestry DNA matches not loading...

Hi

Apologies if I am not allowed to ask this here but cannot find an answer elsewhere. Delete if necessary. When in my Ancestry account none of my DNA matches load. All I get is a blank page. I have done everyhting suggested by Ancestry (i.e. clear caches etc) but nothing seems to work.

Is this just me or is anyone else getting the same?

I found that turning off the Ad Blocker worked.

Just to add, for some people, ad blockers may be part of their anti-virus or internet security software or app, and you would need to add the ancestry website as an exclusion on there (or just the ancestry dna match page).

Thanks both. It hadn't occured to me about the anti-virus so will give that a try.

Blooming annoying though as its been fine for the last 6 years and now its not....

I think Ancestry must have done something to that particular part. All of the others parts of the site were working fine. It was just the matches that blanked.

So I have changed the settings on Chrome and it now works fine and I can see my matches. On Firefox though (which is my default browser) it still is a no show. I have tried changing every setting I can think of but....bupkis.

Guess I'll be using Chrome from now on

I had been having problems with Chrome which I didn't manage to resolve until I went into:

- Settings
- Privacy and Security
- Clear browsing data (clear history, cookies, cache and more)

Possibly worth trying that with Firefox - I had been using Chrome as my main browser and was finding I was having to use other browsers to access certain web pages. Sorry can't check how to do that on Firefox as not at home, but this may help (bear in mind that you might have to log back in to websites):

I had the same problem using Firefox. It was fixed by turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection. I found the instructions here:
