Carlo Maffescioni b Teglio, ITALY

I have been trying to track down information about CARLO (Charles) MAFFESCIONI.

• He was born in Teglio, Italy 8 JAN 1856
  Migrated to Australia in 1879
  Married AMELIA KAY in 1882

After a few children bearing his surname, he seems to disappear and Amelia remarries Edward Blundy.
I believe I have tracked him down and he died in 1909 on the opposite side of the state, buried in an unmarked grave in Bethanga, Vic. I'm unsure what happened between the last child bearing his surname in 1892 (however middle name is Blundy)/95 (Maffescioni is the middle name with mother's maiden name as surname) and his death.

I haven't tracked down a divorce certificate or any other clue as to what happened.

I am wondering if:

• He had siblings, I think possibly a brother Giovanni, he also may have emigrated.
  If anyone has any family connections they can share or knowledge about the years 1890-1909 for Carlo or life for the Maffescioni's prior to his migration.
  Anyone has a photo of him or his family.

I believe that this the 1888 marriage for Giovanni X Domenica Gervasini who lived in Victoria, but I don’t think that he was a sibling:

It's hard to know what was happening, Amelia returns to Creswick, I assume to her parents to have
Edward Blundy Maffescioni in 1892, I believe he dies that year. What is strange is, he has her future husbands first name and his surname as a middle name. But is perhaps Carlo's/Charles.

The next kids seem to be missing Carlo from the birth certificates and Hannah seems to have Amelia's maiden name Kay as well. So perhaps Carlo was in and out of the picture.

Hannah lives until 1965.
The Edward born in 1897 was always listed as Edward Blundy. Didn't realise Maffescioni was on any of his birth records. He went as Blundy his whole life.
Annie Blundy I believe is a child she has with Edward Blundy.

Amelia - mother of the children becomes Amelia Blundy at some stage, but I haven't seen a marriage or divorce certificate.
