Death and mariage records of Marie Desdouets in Massachusetts and Maryland

Good evening everyone,

Could someone help me find the death record of Marie Joseph Françoise Desdouets (known as Marie Desdouets in the US)? She is the daughter of Louis Joseph Marie Desdouets and Marie Vincente Goaziou and she was born 1894 in St-Pierre-et-Miquelon. She came to the US (Vermont) with her illegitimate child that she had with Joseph Paul Ernest Chesnel. She married Roy Elmer Mitchell in Massachusetts on June 12th, 1920 and she had at least one child with him. I have seen in some family trees on the Internet that some people say she married a John MacDonald and she had at least three children with him (Robert, Glenn and Mary). If the theory that she married John MacDonald is true, I might have found her date of death, but, without the marriage record, it is difficult to prove. Since Roy Elmer Mitchell died in 1979, it means that either the theory of John MacDonald is wrong or that Marie and Roy divorced.

Marie is listed in the 1930 US Census in Boston as Marie MacDonald with sons Robert and Glenn. The original record has Mitchell as both her sons' surnames, but Robert's has been transcribed as MacDonald. No other people are listed in the household, but she's indicated as married.

Thank you for the new information, it is really appreciated. It seems that Marie Desdouets and Roy Mitchell divorced between 1923 and 1927. Marie then remarried to John D. MacDonald before 1930 and her two sons (with Roy Mitchell) changed there last name to their stepfather's. The couple had one child (at least) named Mary Teresa MacDonald born on September 22nd 1931 in Connecticut.

After some research, I found some information on the family:

"John D MacDonald" and "Marie J Mitchell (Desdouets)" were married in Boston in 1927, according to a Massachusetts marriage index. John's name is transcribed incorrectly as Colin D MacDonald (Colin is the middle name of the John MacDonald listed above him.) The source for their marriage info is given as Vol. 2, page 88.

Her residence is "5 Mansfield St., Alls, Boston"
Allston is a neighborhood in Boston and there is a 5 Mansfield Street in Allston.
