Arthur Grenfell Clarke was a treasurer in Hong Kong in the 1960s.He died in Foxrock in Dublin on 16/8/1993.I think he had his funeral in the Tullow Church in Foxrock.Could anyone help me find out where he was buried. Also is there anyway of finding out if there was a notice put in the paper for the funeral.I know this is a strange request, thank you for your time in advance, tom

hello,I have found out that Arthur Grenfell Clarke married Violet Louise Riley,or known as Louise Riley in 1980 the same year Rhoda, his first wife died.It was her second marriage as well,as she had two children.I have found a Violet Louisa Christmas marrying a Frederick Riley in Louth in 1938.could the experts have a look and see if you think that this Violet could be the same one that married Arthur.thank you for you time, tom

Definitely not the closest cemetery to Foxrock or Tullow Church, but a major cemetery for South Dublin, originally almost exclusively for Protestants, it's about 15km away in Harold's Cross.

Tullow church is on Brighton Road Foxrock and close to Foxrock village.

Just to add, Mount Jerome Cemetery is also used for cremation's, at the time would have been one of a few in the Sth City to supply that option.
