Gosh you've got so much done Chrissie, and I'm here just having breakfast! Well done on being the first to start this week. Mare from NZ did the honours last week.
Welcome to the diary Griffo, it is always nice to have someone new join in:) That does sound scary to be experiencing a cyclone.

I am glad you feel safe; I hope you can continue to feel safe. Take care.
My weather forecast site is still showing a big yellow sun symbol for today. There is the slightest hint of a blue sky outside my window so you never know.
I'm on nightshift tonight. So there's a lot I could potentially do in the meantime; albeit nothing too tiring as I have a long night ahead. I feel like hibernating in this cold weather like the squirrels are said to (although, I have seen some scampering about occasionally). I'll have a cup of tea and then perhaps I'll feel a bit more oomph after that.
Ps Good morning to Ruskie & Caroline too

- you just posted as I was typing mine. Hope you enjoyed the football yesterday, Caroline.
I have a family member who is going to NZ on holiday in a few weeks. I am feeling a bit apprehensive for her. Hopefully, this weather situation will be better by then.
