So my mother was less than forthcoming in regards to her past.  Cyril did not die in the war, so either they divorced or she was a really, really naughty girl back then.

Thank you all who assisted me on this.  I now have them all "grafted" onto my tree and hopefully, at some later date, DNA will confirm the facts and then I may find some "step/half siblings" (or whatever they are).
