Another confusing one at the moment is who in my immediate family it is matching or not matching.  I wonder if the assigning of parent one or two in Ancestry is always correct with 4th-6th Cousins or closer matches.


I mentioned in my reply 2, that there were some people putting trees on a very well known site with an error or errors in, without even checking the actual BMD and Census paperwork themselves.

If someone has an error or multiple errors in their Tree or there is an error in another tree/s (before even someone considers that one or more person/s may also have had a relationship outside a tree), then the assigning can't always be 100% correct.

Ancestry’s sideview is still a WIP.

It and Ancestry’s data management is a bit questionable.

Two of the four people presented as Unassigned when I click the DNA tab, despite having them in my Wife’s tree and flagged as Maternal, hence it is seriously flawed.
