RE Norfolk
« on: Friday 27 January 23 16:43 GMT (UK) »
Good afternoon everyone

I've recently been able to access some adoption records, and against father's name, it says he was a soldier, Norfolk RE.

I wondered if this is Royal Engineers?  I had a quick google but was unable to find anything directly related.  Timeframe is second world war.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

Thank you!

Chilton (Northumberland, Cumbria, Durham)
Dixon (Northumberland)
Brown (Northumberland, Cumbria)
Tallentire & variants (Durham)
Phillips (Briton Ferry, Wales)
Seaton (Cumbria)
Moffat (Cumbria)
Garstang (Cumbria, Lancashire)
