She was acquainted with the prisoner Broad had travelled with him on the 28th September last to Melbourne in the Mararoa. There accompanied them Broad's son, witness' daughter, and a Miss Williams. Witness paid for the tickets. They travelled as Mr. and Mrs. Gifford and two children.....
