Fatal Result of a Fall
The Deputy Coroner (Dr. R H Todd) held a magisterial inquiry at the City Coroner’s Court yesterday touching the death of a coal-lumper named John Archibald Robert Henderson, which occurred at the Sydney Hospital on Monday. On the 9th instant deceased was engaged in running the plank during coaling operations on board the steamer Wallsend, lying in Neutral Bay, when he missed his footing and fell to the deck. The Coroner entered a finding of accidental death.
