Cruck Meole - "Railway Cottages" circa 1901

Hello all. I wonder if anyone could shed light on the actual location of "Railway Cottages" in Cruck Meole around the year 1901.

I have an ancestor attending Cruck Meole National Church of England School around that time and living at No. 2 Railway Cottages, Cruck Meole (Ref Census 1901).

I haven't found any maps with that level of detail as yet.
Any help/pointers would be appreciated. (Probably a difficult ask).

It may help us if you give us the name of the person in question and the 1901 census reference 

Have you tried looking at adjacent streets on the census or going back to the enumerators route at the beginning to get some idea of the location

Ethel Beddoes - RG13 / 2533 / 66 / 15 (Household Schedule Entry No. 87).

I currently don't have any further Census info other than "No. 1 Railway Cottages" previous schedule entry 86, "School House" schedule entry 88, and "Cruck Meole Mills" schedule entry 91. Remaining adjacent entries state "Cruck Meole".

Unfortunately I don't have the enumerators route.

Possibly the building shewn below the. Co.  of short hill colliery, looks about big enough to be a pair of cottages, and built on railway land.

Old Blacksmith's Shop; Private House; Mr Crow

See Mazi's map which has a "Smithy" close to the railway bridge. Two entries after the Blacksmith's shop is Orchard Lane - so appear to be progressing west/east along the present A488?
I'm tending to plump for one of the blocks between 261 and 258 on the map as Nos 1 and 2?

** note - this is not the Mr Griffiths at Railway Cottages in 1901.

I would agree, Railway cottages you would expect to be occupied by railway workers, railway bridge cottages is a good description of their location.

The head of the family in 1901, Henry, was a "Railway Platelayer".
However by 1903 the family had relocated to Shrewsbury. (Henry was then a "Railway Clerk" and by 1911 he was a "Brewer").

Railway Cottages, Cruckmeole were indeed sited near Shorthill.
My Wife's family lived there until 1960's.
Twin cottages adjacent to the Minsterley railway. No road access, just a footpath along the lineside.
Now demolished but site still evident from brickwork in field, plus the old Walnut tree still standing in the former garden.
