The railway ran from Snailbeach Lead mine.
I lived with a branch line running behind the cottage.
There was a smelthouse  part way along and passengers could ride to Minsterley where there were a few shops and also Pontesbury .
We branched off at Plox Green when going to Snailbeach ,the road we left went to Bishops Castle .
Despite the evidence of mining a lovely place.
