The attached photo was passed on to me with no identifying information other than the notation "Buckley Clan". I believe the photo is of my LIVINGSTONE ancestors who gathered in 1912 to celebrate the 80th birthday of CRAWFORD LIVINGSTONE, nee Spencer. The Livingstones came to Connecticut from Glasgow in 1873. A newspaper clipping confirms the event as taking place in September 1912 in Taftville, CT, and lists some family who attended from out of town.
I believe the elderly couple seated center are my g-g-g-grandparents JOHN LIVINGSTONE (1833-1917) and CRAWFORD SPENCER LIVINGSTONE (1832-1916) however I have no other photographs of them to be sure. I would like to confirm if possible by using clues from known photographs of other family members. Is this possible here? Can anyone help me confirm either way the identification of the following people in the photo? The second attached file includes photos of known family members.
I've listed their names, birth year, and my guess at who they might be in the "clan" photo:
Mary, b. 1854 (seated to the immediate right of the elderly woman?)
Margaret, b. 1858 (seated to the left of the elderly gentleman, dressed in black?)
David, b. 1869 (seated on the far left?)
Thomas, b. 1863 (holding the cornet?)
Alice, b. 1875 (seated far right?)
John, b. 1880 and Clara, b. 1882 (standing at the far right, immediately behind potential Alice?)
Sarah, b. 1877 (standing immediately behind the elderly woman?)
Grace, b. 1908 (small child standing far right, with potential Alice?)
Jesse, b. 1906 (girl seated on ground in front of elderly woman?)
Thank you for any assistance you can provide!
