What are search angels and time travel detectives?

Maybe you need to provide a bit more context before your thread gets derailed further?

I didn't get joke ..I thought it was clever short answer .

Have altered punctuation but have a tendency to befuddle folk and say too much .

What joke?
What punctuation?

I think I’ve worked it out Mike ….

Sproutmeister asked the above question on the rootschat “chat” board.

I think that replies come thick and fast on there because it’s live.

Brigid attempted to answer the question on “chat” but she was too slow.

She suggested that Sproutmeister ask on the normal boards so she would have more time to reply.

That’s why the question sounds a bit vague, but context would have avoided that.

I have no idea why anyone would use those terms. I have no idea about the relevance of anything else.

I attempted to make a joke of the terms as I thought they sounded a bit silly.

If I am right about how this came about, PMs between Sproutmeister and Brigid might have been a better idea.  ;D

Your deduction skills are spot on ruskie

thanks for clarifying on my behalf

Sprout probably doesn't come on the boards  much .

Was a favour for me cos my eyes hurt and I was tired and I wanted to get this out

One of my first computer assistants was age 7,
I taught English +  the youngster did magic stuff on my phone like add weather app.or edit photos at the speed of lightning

I also had a friend in Australia who came back one a year taught me one thing each time and I knew about Facebook so was able to set his mother up on her computer with a lot of false starts and laughter but she was then able to communicate with her son in real time when in Oz

The joke referred to was ruskies answer #

I got confuse with upload download copy file etc

Remember sense of triumph when my yearly lesson I learnt not to keep tapping buttons. If the little wheel was going round cos it means something is happening

+ My computer savvy mother in her 80s showed me where to find the apostrophe

It didn't help that I'd been using french keyboard for 11 years or so

On a serious note more and more companies are becoming aware of special needs

When I phone my phone company I flag up as a person who has panic attacks they also did gas elec and home phone in days I had those utilities .

But they also have agents so when you have any questions go through your agent let them deal with it and come back to you ..no more waiting in line with grating music which is incredibly stressful to anyone with low noise sensitivity .

+ Recently I added my geek as a " .? Person "
Can't remember the term but it means they have a code word and can ask q on my behalf if I lose my words or get overwhelmed with technical terms

I know it's psychosomatic but it is like a phobia .
I have friends on autistic spectrum who can't stay on line while grating music plays cos it's like chalk on blackboard to them

Autistic society has negotiated some ways of bypassing or choosing option silent .

But I'd like more companies to do more and see how techies can help non techies

Btw I have used utility warehouse for 11 years .I ignore "tempting offers " cos cheaper phone rates is not as valuable as my time and mental health spending stupidly long at end of phone
