Can anyone help with this burial record? What is the forename above Joseph Clarke?

It looks like "Hauslan" to me, but I'm no expert, and I'm not sure if that is even a name.

 I usually look at this page of old law hands if I need to decipher old writing.

I’ve been wondering if it’s in Latin. It dates to 1680 and some of the other entries have been in Latin. Thank you for the page of letters. That looks very useful.

The first letter is V.
It is written Vauslap or Vanslap.
