1851 census look up - Thomas Winstanley

Hello all 

Not sure if this ancestor I'm looking for will be in Cheshire or Lancashire so I'm going to try both!

Could someone please try to find Thomas Winstanley on the 1841 and/or 1851 census for me.

He was born in Lymm, Cheshire around 1831. His occupation was warehouseman in 1861 when he was living at Stonehewer Street in Manchester. He married someone called Anne (surname unknown) who was from Stanton, Staffs but not sure when he married. (His first child James was born c1859 in Manchester so sometime before then)

Any help gratefully received

1851 Census:-  There's a Thomas Winstanley age 23 b. Lymm working on  a farm in Bowdon (nr Altrincham).

Off to work now but will gladly supply more details later if you want.

Thanks for that Jim but as far as I recall I did find this eventually. My original post is just over four years old now so don't know how you happened upon it! Thank you for looking for me though, much appreciated!

John DEANS, 15, apprentice joiner
All born Cheshire

There is a James Winstanley, 20, living nearby and a John Fletcher, wife Mary, both 45 and family next ddor to the Winstanleys.

There is a submitted christening for Thomas on IGI;
22 April 1832, StWerburgh, Warburton, Cheshire
Parents LUKE and MARY

Plus submitted marriage records of Luke in 1821 and 1829 in Bowden to Mary FLETCHER.
These would have to be checked.
If it is correct 1829 would seem more likely as Matthew is born abt 1830.
