As a further pointer the indexed properties for Rosoman Buildings in 1871 are enumerated as:-
RG10/280, Folios 42-44.

My previous mention indicates re-numbering of properties took place by the time of the 1881 census.

At the foot of the map is "New River Head" (marked in blue). Below are "Up Rosama. S" and "Rosama. P".

Western edge of map, "Rosama. P" now showing as "Hardwick Street"?

The "Rosama" area appears undeveloped.

The aforementioned Willats' oracle mentions each 'Rosoman/Rosoman's' namings but the streets, Upper & Lower at first, whilst lying adjacent to Roseberry Avenue near the former Family History Centre(Myddleton Street) were about a mile south of the "Rosoman Buildings" at Islington Green. They would prove a distraction from the address in the image provided by JoolsAnn.
