I feel people appreciate how you initially broach your request, how you converse with them (your tone etc.) as opposed to a written request on chat which may not have the same effect

The woman I spoke to was very nice, said she'd have a look at my account & was quite chatty in the process...maybe she likes a 'Scottish' accent
