Newspapers.com and fold3 are included in the Ancestry Everything package.  I’ve already done 3 free trials in the past but my list is long now.  I will wait for the next offer.  Thank you Sandra.

Having refused me a discount on Worldwide, so I took the half price Premium, they are now offering me a discount to upgrade - not sure what to do!

Just renewed through Chat for 50% discount on premium as don't need worldwide.

Was trying the hotdeals but it just kept going to my membership page, my sub expires today so was still active, was told you need inactive for the promo to work.

Good result as have had the link by Sandra for the last few years

It is interesting the different stories from RootsChatters.  Not all ancestry operatives are obliging but with perseverance, phone and chat, quite often trying again works

The person I spoke to was lovely and very helpful.

I queried why the 50% promo was not working for me as my membership was due to expire today. He stated it was still active, cancelled it at my request and gave me the sub I wanted renewed, no quibble. Also thanked me for being a long time member.

If you have inactive membership the hotdealsuk promo should work until it expires.

It is also worth contacting them by chat or phone as am sure they don't want to lose custom. Nothing to lose and all to gain.

So I rang up to beg for a discount.  The very polite and efficient lady advised that I needed to wait until my sub had expired and then call again, quoting the case number which she proceeded to give me. She has promised me a 50% discount recorded on the file, so hopefully that will be applied when I call again to renew.

I cannot see this offer.

In fact, nowhere on the web can I see the renewal price for a "Worldwide ANNUAL subscription", only the 6-month option.

I haven't received any special offers from Ancestry even though my Worldwide Subscription ends in two weeks time. I've canceled it as I don't want to auto-renew at the full price.
