I cancelled mine about a week before renewal date of 8th December. Ive just renewed today by phone  for 12 months at £89.99.
Kind lady checked my account and could see I had been with them a long time.

Great that you are getting a reasonable renewal cost.

DO REMEMBER a week or so before the subscription renewal date to (in order ):-

1) backup your trees either by syncing to software or downloading a Gedcom.

2) cancel the Auto Renewal

3) do not access Ancestry a few days before and a few days after the renewal date

4) try any link for low cost renewal until you find one that works OR telephone Ancestry and horse trade for a deal

I.ve had the same.

Seems a good offer - £59.99 for 12 months on their top service.  (Have I got that right - it is the worldwide search?)

Seem to think the last time I had a sub, it was £5 per month, but I cancelled it after 3 because it would revert to the regular amount.

No, it's the Premium membership, which is UK & Ireland only. The top level is Worldwide.

But yes, it's a very good deal if your research is UK-only.

Sems to only be Premium. May be worth phoning for a Worldwide deal since they seem to offer it to anyone with a recently expired membership if you ask.
