Where is North Pavement?

Hi all :)

Hopefully a quick one. Found this in the 1851 Census for Bethnal Green. Pretty sure it says North Pavement, but does anyone know where it was/is?
Belt in Hull,Yorkshire
Neave in Norfolk
Chant,Winton in London
Mayall in Oldham
Hughes in Cheshire
James in Wales
Russell in Pevensey
Tester in Buxted
Stuart in Roxburgh,Scotland
Higo in Ireland

Read the description at the front of the enumerated section, and also " walk" the addresses on an old map.

So it was somewhere near the junction of Smart Street and what was then Green Street (now Roman Road). The Angel & Crown is on that corner.

This map of that area is from the 1870's by which time North Pavement seems to have disappeared:

Someone back in 2006 posted on the British Genealogy forum the question as to the whwereabouts of North Pavement.

Along with the reply from ShaunJ you might get a better idea as to its location
Sockett in Shropshire, Montgomeryshire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Glamorgan and probably the rest of the UK
Corbet/t in Shropshire, Norfolk, Worcestershire
Gambold in South West Wales, USA, Australia
Baylis/s in Gloucestershire, South Wales
Richards in Breconshire
Manthorpe in Shropshire, Norfolk, Cheshire, Suffolk

Aha, another mention in the press in 1826 with a more detailed address:

A Freehold Plot of Ground, eligibly situated on the North Pavement, North-street, Smart- Street, Globe -fields, Bethnal-green

North Street ran between Smart Street and West Street and eventually became part of East Street. You can see it on these old maps, left of Regents Canal and just above Victoria Park cemetery:
