Date Please for this Woman

Hi,

Came across this photo in my cousin's documents but no-one in the family has any idea who she is.  There are zero markings on it and I can only assume that it was taken in Australia but could in fact be in Ireland or Scotland.

Having said that, cousin's:

- paternal grandmother emigrated Ireland to Australia 1902
- paternal grandfather born Queensland, Australia 1872 (his parents emigrated Ireland to Aust 1856)
- maternal grandparents emigrated Scotland to Australia aft 1923

Any suggestions of place or time would be helpful,

This type of photo is called a ‘Cabinet Card’. They were used during the 1870s-1890s. Looking at the color, I would say that this photo was taken around the 1890s.

I have a photograph of a Scottish relative circa 1850's dressed in a very similar manner.  So maybe taken in Scotland.

Thanks all, that certainly has me leaning more towards the lady being from his maternal line.
