I can try but they don't all work out  . The software I use for restoration is nearly as old as me   and there are many parts of old photos, especially faces, that are very difficult, if not impossible, to restore to a decent standard. But I will try

Hello Robin,
Just to clarify how it works on here. If you put a photo up for dating, us restorers don't usually carry out a repair when it hasn't been requested as, a) It is not always wanted or b) the poster can repair their own photos. That is why the rest of us haven't attempted to repair it for you.
Secondly, it is advisable to put up a photo for repair on a different post, as those who have already viewed this post, may not return to it and will miss the chance to repair your second photo.
