Millar-Davidson Iam looking for information on the family of Alexander Millar and Margaret eaglesham linton cairns Davidson, who married in 1931. In some of the ancestry sites I have confirmed that they had sons Alexander, who was born in 1932 and emigrated to Australia in 1962, and George who are both dead. I think they had 2 other brothers and 2 sisters, i dont know if they are living? . if anyone has any information I would be delighted to hear from you. Also if they have any living family i would like to make contact.

Rootschat has a policy of not mentioning anyone who could still be living so you may need to remove some of those names from your post

What country did the marriage take place in, and where were the 2 sons that you know of born?

Have you checked the death registrations for parents, Alexander and Margaret, to see who informed on their deaths. It can sometimes help to check as often children reported the deaths of parents.

Margaret E L C Millar/Davidson died in Newington in 1968 at the age 55. Her death registration is available to view online on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Alexander was born 29th November 1932 in Irvine. I don't know the DOB of any of the other ones.

Alexander Millar and Margaret Davidson married 30th December 1931 in Irvine.

their Parents were James Davidson and Mary Gardiner Black(Davidson) and John Millar and Helen Davidson(millar)

I have checked the Death record on Scotlands People and there is no mention of any children.

Have you managed to do a search of local newspapers to see if there is a report of either of the parents' deaths?
