Fifty Years in Laundry Business
Funeral of Mr. William Henry Taylor
The funeral took place at All Souls' Cemetery, yesterday, of Mr. William Henry Taylor. of 14, Wade-street, Halifax, who died on Tuesday, aged 69.
Mr. Taylor had been in business for close on 50 years as a laundryman under the style of Central Steam Laundry, in Wade-street, and previously at Cross Hills, Halifax.
The Rev. R. J. Clayton, curate in charge of the Church of the Good Shepherd, conducted the services at the Halifax Parish Church and at the graveside.
The mourners were: Mrs. and Miss Taylor (wife and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. H. Taylor (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. A. Taylor (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. A. Beaumont (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster (brother-in-law and sister), Messrs. D. and R. Taylor (grandsons), Mrs. Walsh (sister-in-law), Mrs. Lever, Mr. Beaumont.....(continues)

I can see the address for the birth announcement of the 1934 child and the Beaumonts are not there in 1939.

11 Woodside Terrace might be a later address.

But how many there? Up to three, depends if anyone with Mary H Crapper at number 9, and not open.

Died 11 March 1940 (Royal Halifax Infirmary), age 68
Probate - administration to Arthur Vine Sutcliffe, newsagent

Looking into this for a great grandson of the family (my grandson!) for a school project.

If you can, do use the online newspapers. Especially Halifax Courier and Evening Courier
