The 1901 entry showing her as Isabella is correct as James birth & Clara's birth show mmn as Graham.

Why Isabella?  Mystery🤔

Suspect parents were married in Ireland

Does a civil marriage indicate they could have been different religions? Thank you everybody for all your help. The mother is down on records as Annie and not ann, and Elizabeth Ann to Isabella doesn't make sense, unless there is another earlier sibling.

Isabel (variations) is a form of Elizabeth.
The marriage says ‘or registrar attended’ which usually indicates in a Catholic Church.

Annie Maguire b 1855 Co Offaly (King’s) Ireland

These places look good for 1911

Thank you everybody for all your information. I am guessing that it will be hard to trace it further because of the common names and the state of Irish records but I will try. I didn't realise that the census was so informal and took shortened or pet names. It makes the journey all the more interesting, you get as sense of them as a real family.
