Alice Gertrude Priday b: 1879 Hempsted, Gloucester

M: 1897 - Hempsted, Gloucester to John Tremble Fildes b: 1878 Ulverston, Lancs d: 1960 Gloucester

Travels to Australia sometime after 1924 and I believe that she may have stayed.

I would be grateful if some kind person could help with providing info of Alice in Australia.

Alice would appear to have travelled at least twice to Australia.

Do you have info about her husband John. He appears to have set up a relationship and children with another women from 1921/2 onwards.

Yes thank you I found that information earlier today.   Elizabeth Wheeler M: 1950

Now sorting through their children - from what I can find I think 3 - possibly 4 of them went to Australia. Agnes Elvira, Frank, Jack and I'm not sure about Lillie/Lily.  More work to be done.

Frank Fildes DOB 24 December 1902 born Gloucester  signed up WWII in Australia

Baptized 16 January 1903 - fits with birth registration 1903 1st quarter.

Lily/Lillie is the mystery! She went to Australia with her mother in 1923. Her date of birth as per her baptism was the 17th May 1911. Does not seem to appear in 1939 UK war register or UK deaths.
