Ancestry's says Emma lol but its the register list they are showing its the same one as the date of birth is the same

Hmmm I'm not too sure about that. He was just 21, a stoker born Ringwood Hampshire. Do you have evidence of such a marriage?

I can see that Amy's daughter Rose named her father as a John Seymour born Liverpool. She also named her mother as Amy Constance Smith so I think there may have been some invention there.

Perhaps didn't marry him. One of Amy's decendents provided me with the info re John being the Cobra mariner. Haven't verified myself but I'm also sceptical.
