Yes that is quite odd too. I wondered if they were flitting back and forth to foreign lands?

this is one of the reasons I am unsure about the information that we have Amy gives her year of birth as 1876 but we know the actual birthdate of the Amy with parents John and Elizabeth was in 1871 even though the baptism was later

She was in and out of the workhouse right up until January 1911. I believe her children were given up to Bernados around 1908 and sent to Canada.

It says Emma not Amy on the actual 1393 register is that why I cant find her in the 1901 census?
