Jessie was buried  at Kaimshill Cemetery, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland
The headstone reads as follows:
Jessie Campbell who died 5th May 1957 aged 75 years
Cannot find any Death entry on Scotland's People
Would be grateful for any help

This is the exact wording on the headstone?.  Nothing else?.....not one other word, date, name?

Might she have died elsewhere in the UK and been brought back to Kaimshill to be buried?

I would have expected it to read Jessie Stewart

When did Allan die?

Possibility she died elsewhere but is buried in Kilmarnock

Other than the inscription on the stone do you have a definite record of her being buried there?

I’ve got several examples of people being named on gravestones who are buried elsewhere.
