Your Lizzie Johnson was born in Flint in 1896,the daughter of Edward Johnson and Caroline Hayes.If I have picked the correct Johnson Family on Genes-Reunited,I will have your Johnson Family back to 1807.

How very clever you are!  We are talking of the right family.  When you say you have the Johnson Family back to 1807, would you be talking of Robert Johnson?

It is not very often that the info falls neatly into place!Yes it is Robert Johnson born in c 1807,the Father of George Johnson,who married Ann Morris whose Parents were Richard Morris and Ann Bithel.George and Ann were the Parents of Edward Johnson.

I have Robert Johnson on the 1841 census living at Johnstone Lane, Flint with his family.  Following on from Robert is a John Johnson, do you know if this is Robert's father, or just coincidence?

I wouldn't know who Robert 's Father was.The contact on GR seems only to go back,as I said to 1807.However I will look in the Flint parish Registers when I go to the Rhosymedre Resource Centre of Clwyd FHS,on Tuesday.I am also interested in the Edwards that Lizzie Johnson married,as I have other Edwards interests from Flint.

Thomas Conway who marred Sarah Ann Hayes was b 1854 in Widnes, also his brother John b1859, the family moved to Flint about 1860.
John married a Mary McNulty 1888 in Widnes and spent his life there.

Thanks Bill,Thomas was the son of a peter conway born in Ireland in c 1830.However I am in touch with another of peter#s descendants on Genes Re-united,who asks me;Where was Peter was born in Ireland?

Thank you William and Bill for your messages.

Lizzie Johnson married James Harold Edwards on the 1 December 1918.  James was the son of James Edwards and Elizabeth Griffiths.  James was born in Whittington, Shropshire.  His family also lived in Whittington.  However, going back in time it was rumoured that his ancestors moved to Mold.

Would you like further information?

Please note that Lizzie had two children, Alfred and Doris Johnson whom she had prior to marrying James Edwards.  I have details of Alfred but am still searching for Doris.  Doris did move to Flint and had a family there.
