Charles Baraclough.
« on: Sunday 28 August 22 02:19 BST (UK) »
Good morning,

I am hoping someone can enlighten me on a marriage I have found.

Charles Baraclough.

Male

Age Full

Marriage date 2 Dec 1850.

At Edgebaston, St Bartholomew, Warwickshire.

Spouse. Elizabeth Luckett.

I am wanting to see if this Charles Baraclough is related to my family tree of Baraclough's from Nuneaton and Birmingham.

And also who was Elizabeth Luckett?

Kind Regards

Bullamore.

Sadly, no parents are given... both just left blank.
Charles is  a bachelor, labourer, address is just "Birmingham"
Both of them are of "full age", so no help there.
Bride's address is just "Edgbaston".  She was a spinster.

The most unhelpful registration ever.  :-\

Witnesses were Rebecca Bennett and Henry Rooke.
Charles, Elizabeth, and Henry signed, and Rebecca was "X - her mark".

Possible child:
    BARRACLOUGH, LUCY  ANN      LUCKETT
GRO Reference: 1854  M Quarter in BIRMINGHAM  Volume 06D  Page 35

She is just bounced around with relatives in the censuses.
Possible sightings of a married Elizabeth working for families.  I suspect the marriage did not last long, for whatever reason.
