Thank you all for replies and comments.

I did find the previous info on Rootschat from other posters when searching for any Bach references.

I am none the wiser if Edmund died between 1837-1839. The fact the widow was wearing mourning clothes in 1839 suggests he may have died in early 1839 or late 1838? I don't know.

I have also found that Edmund Bach was declared bankrupt in November 1831. Apparently in the newspaper of the time he is described as a coal and potato mechant or seller. I wondered if he appears in any London trade directories of the time? I have no knowledge of London records sadly.
