Oh wow. What genealogy stars you are, bbart, that is fantastic.  And RK, great stuff finding the obit.
I was thrown off the track by the mother Sarah, one ancestry tree said she died in 1945, so that was a needle in a haystack.

Hi,

Canada Voters List, 1957, Pickering, Ontario
Allen, Robert, cement finisher, Rouge Park

I'm not picking him up on any other voters lists'.

These particular lists are alphabetical, and there are 2 other Allen's on the 1957 list, but I don't think they are related.
Allen, David, labourer, R.R.2 Pickering
Allen, Mrs. Marilyn, R.R.2 Pickering
