I think the Service Update message has been up for so long few notice it now. As always happens the one I'm waiting for is a marriage cert at an unknown venue so the GRO is the only real option open. It's about to roll to two weeks past est desp date .

I ordered a DNA kit the same day, I have a feeling that may arrive before the cert.

I ordered a paper Birth Certificate it took five weeks before I received it.

My PDF was due to be issued on 18th, still no word on 22nd.

Yes - I am doing a friend's family tree and finding really quite lengthy delays. However if staff have been diverted onto a backlog of passport applications - I can so understand that being more urgent.

We have taken the service for granted in the past haven't we.
