Baptism worting Basingstoke 1886

Can anyone help me with a Baptism of Alfred Charles Knight, born Jan 1886,   
  Baptised at st Thomas Worting Basingstoke. , I have him on 1911 and 1939 census so any sightings of earlier census would be great. It's his parents that I am chasing,  many thanks Rovert x

What parental information was given at the baptism?
You say it was @st Thomas Worting Basingstoke?

How about a GRO index entry? MMN given on that?
LOTS you can do yourself, and then provide it in any lookup request.

Looks like he was illegitimate GRO entry has dash were mmn should be.
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

Worting is in Basingstoke RD not Alresford

Have you looked for any other Knights born in Worting or living in Worting in 1881 or 1891, to try and find the potential wider family?
If he was illegitimate, his mother may have married by 1891 and he might be listed under stepfather's surname. With two forenames, he might be listed by the second one, or a nickname e.g Fred for Alfred.
