Thomas HANDLEY and his two wives
« on: Friday 29 July 22 16:46 BST (UK) »
It would be much appreciated if someone could look up the Brassington or Ashbourne marriage registers for a marriage between Thomas Handley and Rachel XXXXXXXX. This probably occurred in about 1824. Rachel died in about 1844 and Thomas married again to Ann Walton in AMJ 1845 Ashbourne. Exact date would be useful. Many thanks.
(Headstone to Thomas and Ann in Brassington churchyard which I hope to visit before the end of the year.)

No image (on FindMyPast) for a marriage at Brassington - 4 September 1825 - TH and Rachel Batterly.

Added:

Image available on Ancestry - both signed.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Sorry, BumbleB, I should have looked on Ancestry but I'm not used to finding pre-1838 parish records on the site. I'll put a bit more effort in next time!
