There has been some mention in the family of a possible stay in Scotland so will follow this up when information is available.
Regarding Sidney James Kirwan, Adelines father, we believe he had left her mother before they left the Falklands and although we knew about his death in the UK not sure when he arrived here--not too important to our search as we are mainly interested in the daughter.

This was from the probate index/register.

They might have separated but ??

from electoral registers 1920 & 21 I think Madeline (mother) is at 23 York St, Paddington

By 1926 they've moved to 12 Colville Terrace, Kensington  (William now also listed, and Madeleine jnr shows in 1929)

Which helps locate them on 1921, transcribed as Kirman. Adeline is listed as Orita

Sidney is indeed living elsewhere in 1921 - in Richmond

I don'tt think we're supposed to give info from the 1921, Mabel. I saw him a while ago.There was no sign of Madeline on  the Scottish valuation rolls of 1920 or 1925.
I see you found them in London!
