Alfred paine and Eliza paine
« on: Thursday 21 July 22 08:08 BST (UK) »
Just wondered if someone could help. Alfred paine was born 4 aug 1879 Uxbridge mother was Eliza paine born 1852 hillingdon parents Emma and Charles paine.  In 1881 Alfred was living woth Eliza's parents but I am unable to locate him on 1891 census or on any records and census beyond 1881. Eliza seemed to change her surname to Bates from 1881 but I am unable to locate a marriage for her. I can find her on 1881 and 1891 census but not beyond this. Any help greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Give the URL of her records on familysearch so we can easily see WHERE she is, WHEN  and WITH WHOM.
age and birthplace can be variable, assosiates less so.

That is an amazing thread, you've (as always) found out so much info for the OP.
It makes me wonder why they needed to ask the same questions all again here?

Ah, thanks Carol.
Rootschatters should know (if they don't already!) that Carol has been a mainstay on those ancestry boards for even longer than me, and is always utterly brilliant.

I guess the OP wants a second opinion, or more!
