Restoration Please. The Thomas family Porthcawl
« on: Monday 18 July 22 12:07 BST (UK) »
The Thomas family having fun. This is my grandparents with all four of their children, and the only picture I have of my great grandmother. She was known as the Battleaxe. But since she was the wife of a mine worker, and sent all three of her sons to university, I think her nickname is a complement to her determination! Approximate date 1927.
Would love to have it restored.
Watkins - Swansea. Thomas - Carmarthenshire. Stock - Rowberrow. Jarman - Montgomeryshire. Duck - Calne. Watts - Frome.

Thank you so much everyone. That is an amazing selection for me to choose from. Looks like the one on the right may be holding a box camera. Not sure though. Yes they all look as if they'd rather be in Blackpool, apart from the grumpy looking man who looks as if he'd rather be at home having a glass of whisky.
