Can you browse a street in the 1921 census?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if there is a way to browse the 1921 census to see who else was living on a street either side of the specific house you are interested in? I don't really need or want to pay the £2.50 fee on Findmypast to view each and every record; I just wanted to review who else lived there to get a sense for what trades etc. were prevalent on my grandparents' road at the time.

Thanks in advance for any tips or pointers anyone can give.

Thank you, but unless I'm missing something, you can't actually see the names or occupations of the other houses... can you? It looks as if you still have to pay to see each individual record, unlike with the other censuses...

You can find who lives at each number on a street by using the advanced options button
Just fill in location in 1921 with the town name and put the street name in under that. Adding a number in front of the street name gives the occupants in each home, sometimes more than one household. You can work out who belongs with who using the cursor for the preview. You can also try different occupations to see if any get a positive result but best done on individual names.

So frustrating... I can see first names, sometimes, and other times just initials, but no surnames and no occupations. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Perhaps I need a subscription, even if I'm not actually opening each record...

Try this. Find a particular record and just note the exact spelling of the name and the Parish.
Also note the information from the preview.
Start a new search and just fill in the Parish and at the bottom of the search page where it says other household member, fill in the name  of the person and it should bring up the others in the household. Sometimes you get more than one household of people so you have to find the ones for your household using the cursor to preview. Also with an individual record add information from initial search to try to get to only one result then add an occupation and see if changes the number of results.

You can also use the schedule numbers as given in the free address search to give you the entire household.
Then you don't need the preview.

Which part is the schedule number please?  I've managed to work out the piece number, the schedule number too would be an enormous help when looking for a common name in a large parish.

I think you would need to work out the name of the street the person is living in first. It can be done. Then you find the street with its schedule numbers in the free address search. And apply either the house numbers or schedule numbers in the free person search until you get a positive result.
The problem is if you don't know the exact address in advance, and it's a very long street
