Hi again,

Just a quick question.

I notice that the links are from a website called riksarkivet, is this a better website to use than
Arkivdigital.  As you can probably tell, I am new to researching my Swedish ancestors and would like to use the most comprehensive website.

Many Thanks

Sue  :) ;)

Hi and you're welcome.
Arkivdigital is searchable and Riksarkivet isn't. Also Arkivdigital has more records but isn't free.

Hi Ian,

Thankyou for that.

It is interesting that you found him going to America as he ended up in England.  I have a letter from his brother Sven and his father from America but I didnt know that he was there as well.

Thank you for all your help.

Sue  :)

I have to add that you can actually search the census records at Riksarkivet.

Jonas didn't go to America. All his siblings seemed to have though.
