As far as I know my grandfather was married at Greenock in Scotland (possibly 1884) aged 22..may have been Gretna Green…his wife was Ellen Hartin.

Just in case you still can't find the marriage in Scotland (although it is easily found via the Hartin name), here is the index entry for it. As you can clearly see, even if usually "Glenn", it was, as I mentioned earlier, indexed under "Glen". In family history research, one has to be open to any/many spelling variations for forenames/middle names/surnames/placenames:

Grateful thanks for all replies, some of which I recognise as correct and other possibilities.
Renewed my interest to keep digging.
 Also trying to locate burial record and /or place of Samuel Robinson Glenn in 1935
Died as 5 month old baby….can’t recall exact date but will check that out.  This would be my baby brother …most other  family graves are to be found mainly in Kilraughts and Old Kilraughts graveyard

Most Presbyterian churches didn't keep burial records and if there's no headstone the only sort of record might be details of plots (and not all churches kept such records). Unfortunately often such deaths didn't even have a notice put in the local paper so it can be difficult to find a place of burial.
