I am trying to trace my grandfather Robert Glenn born in approx 1862 in County Antrim N.I.
Married in January 1884 to Ellen Hartin in Scotland
any information would be appreciated

Welcome to Rootschat  :)

Civil registration of births didn't start until 1864 so no birth certificate if born before that date. 'County Antrim' covers a wide area and to search for church records you need a more precise location as well as an idea of religion.
Does the 1884 Scottish marriage record not list names of both his parents?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Marriage is under Glen rather than Glenn ...and possibly death too if it is the following:

albeit this death would suggest a c1866 birth and may be a Scottish born Robert.

Was your chap already widowed and living at 29, Mcdowall Street, Johnstone by 1891/

It’s Robert Glenn .
As far as I know my grandfather was married at Greenock in Scotland (possibly 1884) aged 22..may have been Gretna Green…his wife was Ellen Hartin.. they had a large family and lived in Drones area in Co. Antrim..I’m interested in his father also Robert Glenn whose wife’s name may be Jane Wilson but can find no great detail on either one of them. Would be interested in their burial place. …Robert senior was already dead when his son got married.

The marriage is available on Scotlandspeople and should contain details of Roberts parents.

This looks likely to be the family in 1901:

Presbyterians generally didn’t keep burial records and agricultural labourers often couldn’t afford a gravestone. Tracing them may be tricky. I have access to the burial records for Clough and they are not listed there.
