Hello, are there any researchers of the Dawson family of Lincoln out there? I believe a couple named Dawson adopted a relative of mine in 1935-early 40's The couple lived on Goldsmith Walk. St Giles at some point. Hope someone can help. Thanks Graham

There is a Dawson family in that road in 1939 but we can't publish details. One person is blanked out, so possibly Keith.

Try searching Dawson living in Lincoln and then just go through the results
. Sometimes it works by putting a road name in 'Keyword'
Are you sure that he is not still alive - I mentioned that in your other post

I suspect this person is still alive - born 1934 & no death to 2020 under either surname
If he is deceased - when did he die? If he is still alive his name must be removed from your post as Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy

Unless you can prove that he has died you need to go back into all of your posts and remove his name including the headings. You can only modify your posts within 24 hours of originally posting them

If he is the blanked out person, he is probably still living or was until recently.
If you can gain access to the Register, the family is easy to find. Just enter the surname and Goldsmith Walk in the street name.
